A Sonnet of love #poetry

image

Jet-black hair inflamed by searching breeze
Plush-pink lips awash with candid whispers
Her eyes are wild, they dance, tempt and tease
her red-hot touch, alight with craving fires

My heart rejoices at her caring smile
Honest, yet flushed with sensual need
I hearken to her allure, and her beguile
enchanted, I crave to follow her lead

She comes like sunrise, erasing dark dreams
but fear of sunset, is never behind
My trust in love is broken at its seams
scarred and bruised, uneager to rewind

But her love is bright and always in sight
My sun in day and moon at night
.
.
Beware! My theme this month is #iceandfire.
I hope this sonnet and etheree before, are keeping you warm
For the poems are coming, cold and covered by storm

Hope you keep reading.
