Serenade to Nature #sonnet #poetry

find me there
where my soul belongs
and love awakens
a smile as bright and rare as orchid-blooms
like sunflowers embracing dawn's first light
the beauty of rose-petal folds as summer looms
and meadows filled with daffodil delights
,
trickling rivers caress through forest paths
cleansing to touch and quenching to taste
my heart feels and sees what nature is worth
its soothing song, its music infused with rest
,
that scent of dew and earth that morning brings
the sparkle of sunlight through treeleaf glades
that sprinkle of pollen from butterfly wings
the magic and awe that nature parades
,
away from you I yearn and long for more
all that peace I crave starts at nature's door
wild and untamed world
gorgeous but diminishing
yet always giving

Ah! this is breathtakingly beautiful. Nature truly deserves it’s very own serenade and so much more. I found so much of myself in this poem, I always turn to nature when I need to calm my soul. Lovely write.

i went to one of my favorite natural spots and found that nearly half of it had been cleared for construction, and the remaining half was now even more precious and beautiful

      3. I know the feeling. It’s so sad when natural beauty is eradicated. I am glad that the other half is still there and it inspires you.
