Nature’s haiku romance

I woke up feeling an overwhelming desire for romance. It’s been a while since I did a haiku post. I found a few inspiring images and I laced some haiku alongside them.

It was really fun coming up with these and I managed to sate my lust for both romance and haiku-poetry in one. I hope you enjoy these just as much as I do.

life long paramour
restless and insatiable
overdosed on love

love’s delicacies
miracles of seduction
beauty flocks to you

star-crossed yet betrothed
always close, too far away
a bittersweet fate

ponderous sunset
savouring the taste of night
waves churn with cravings

Within the night sky
sprawled amidst constellations
arousing desires

together at last
writhing in new depths and heights
tilting on the brink

Sensual deluge
steamy within, wet without
moistened endings

I was drawn to the initial photo. The two little birds look like the White-eyes in my garden. Then the haiku series which follows is so well-penned. Lovely work, Jude! It brightened up my morning.
