The Day After

Colleen’s weekly challenge :THEME PROMPT

The portends align
the right place at the right time
destiny’s favour

She glides towards me
Silken words slither from quaint lips
lithe cravings and voluptuous desires
Seduction smothers us in its lure
As we yield to emotions unheeded and untamed

Bright sun and full moon
Passion and intimacy
We long to find you
Now and then fortunes align
Nights as one, with dawns unknown

The theme prompt for this week is The Day After from Elizabeth.

Isn’t it a good feeling to have reciprocated feelings? When the stars align? I think it is and that’s what inspired this. I hope you enjoy it. In there is a haiku, gogyoka and tanka.
