The Saturday Symphony #3

Hi guys, welcome to the 3rd edition of The Saturday Symphony
I’m glad you are all well enough to read this,
And I pray you get even better.

Here’s a little poem to kick us off;

First by day
Last by night
That which loves me most

In days gone by
It would be you
A sensual silhouette
Taking velvet breaths
Beneath our silken sheets
Your warmth, Seductive

In days to come, I cannot know
With you a world away
These nights alone, I cannot tell
Will you return
And if you do
Will things be the same

First by day
Last by night
That which loves me most
Loneliness
My uninvited beau

Okay I hope that stirred the reading juices.

This week’s three featured posts.

  1. Magnolia reveries by Yassy – The delicious language Yassy uses coupled with a sweet relatable depth makes this an astounding delight.(I learnt so many new words and things from this)
  2. Sonnet at sea by Khwahish – Ahh this one churned and frothed such feelings in me. Just like the sea. I hope you like it too.
  3. A poem and a story by Traci Kenworth – Dripping with pains and pangs of star crossed lovers, with an original twist that stayed with me.

PONDEROUS THOUGHT

WATERED BY THE RAIN
~write about a moving experience under the rain,

Something you witnessed,
Or something you lived~

Saw in a dream, Or read in a book.
Just add your own ponderous flavour to it.

You can share with me in the comments section,
Or link back to me in a post that you write.
Any form of writing is okay.

I got you.

Always full of awe and romance. Thanks for including me in the feature… I finally came through with: Rain Dance?

Fit well with the haikai prompt. Wonderful memories for me. And well – everyday home, I’ve got the creek, though I wouldn’t swim in it. – Snapping turtles and fish… I suppose not that different from an ocean- but no salt sea air or sandy beach 🏖 (supposed to be an umbrella on a sandy beach)
