Hi everyone, welcome to the 15th edition of The Saturday Symphony.
The storm clouds this year have been unrelenting, but you are still here, and that is something to be thankful for.
Here’s a short poem I wrote to accompany us through this week’s Symphony;
As spears of rain descend
And paroxysms of wind wreak havoc
Dreams are blown asunder
And hope is drenched in pity
But the spider weaves on,
Rebuilding its home anew
This week’s three featured posts
- Twin flame attraction by Donya – A wonderful chat about intoxicating love.
- Into the night by Sadje – A subtle cocktail of emotions evoked.
- A call away by Smitha – An important reminder.

Thank you Jude! It’s such an honor to have my poem featured here. I loved your poem. It’s inspiring- ‘the spider weaves on.’ Also learnt a new word – paroxysms 🙂
The ‘eye of the storm’ is an interesting topic for the coming week. I hope I can come up with something. And btw that pizza looks delicious!

Thank you so much Smitha, it was a pleasure to feature you. Give the prompt some thought and see if it tempts you into writing something.
Thank you for the pizza compliment, it was delicious 😇

Jude, spider means “creation” so how you used it is perfect. The storm I’ve come to call a “shit storm” has had very little effect on me for I will not let it. I’ve chosen the calm center not involving myself in the out of control storm. It’s bad enough for me when I go to a park to see masks walking about as if the fresh clean air is about to bite. *shaking head* Your pizza …. makes my mouth water. My husband makes his own pizza too and OH let me tell you it is SO delicious! I’m sure yours is too!! LOVE your avatar!! Every time I see it, it makes me smile. The picture of the safe place brought instant peace to me. Thank you!! xo

Thank you so much for this response. It fills me with hope and energy. Ive actually bonded with my avatar. When I can brave a trip for a haircut, that’s always how it is.
Home pizza is so much fresher❤️

This is such a cool thing you do everything Saturday. And: this food you’re making of late is looking too appetizing! I’m always hungry when I leave your blog. Keep up the good work!
