CROSSROADS. Poetry and a heartfelt update.

You have set my heart ablaze
And it’s warmth reaches further each day.

Hey everyone,
Oh mehn it’s been a whirlwind last 10days. On Friday 28th May, I sort of came out about my writing to most people back here at home(Uganda). The reaction was not what I’d imagined.

I finally got my hands on the author copies of my book CROSSROADS (Winds of love)
And they look and feel amazing. The matte laminated cover and size caresses and nestles into the hands.
But of course, the real ticket is not what’s on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside.

God knows how I dreamt and longed for this photo

If I tell you my darkness
Will you then know you are not alone
If I tell you the horrors that have befallen many
Will you then see
That you can overcome
If I tell it well
And if I make you feel
Will you then understand
That there is always light
And we need only spark and spark
Until it ignites

A precious few of you purchased, reviewed, and rated the book, either on Amazon or on Goodreads.
This lends much needed authenticity and appeal to the publication and I am so deeply thankful and grateful.

Well, with a little improvised marketing (I’m so new at this), and many excited friends, colleagues and acquaintances, I managed to sell out all the copies I’d ordered and I just can’t really explain that feeling. And so much of it is because of the people here.

I’m more than encouraged to continue work on my contracted novel coming Spring 2022(trust me, this one is going to be a must read)
I’m putting so much work, study, creativity, and imagination into it.

I’m on the far left with a few very satisfied buyers of the book(lol) *last weekend.

Wild winds of love
Blow me hither
Swing me dither
I will sway
And I will drift
But I will smile
For wherever I may go
The love within is my halo
And all love that touches it
Becomes light

On a dark starless night
I light the candles one by one
For the power to give hope
The power to spread love
The power to share happiness
Lies in my own hands

You can purchase either the ebook or the paperback here;
Amazon purchase.

Just a reminder that from the first fifteen reviews, I’ll randomly select 5 to give a free copy each, of my novel coming Spring 2022(a small prize perhaps, but alot is going into it).

Stay safe everyone, Stay loving.
